What to expect at your first appointment?
We understand that your first visit to the dentist can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility.
Our staff has taken the steps to prepare you for the first appointment by providing a full spectrum of the services we offer and the option to complete our new patient form prior to your visit. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
Please bring the following with you to your first appointment – list of any medications you are taking, list of any allergies, insurance card, picture ID.
If patient is a minor presenting to the clinic with noncustodial parent, consent for dental treatment must be signed by legal guardian before patient is allowed to be evaluated by a clinician.
You will first be scheduled with the hygienist for dental prophylaxis (teeth cleaning), x-rays, fluoride treatment followed by an exam by the dentist. The patient will be informed of any dental needs at this visit and treatment options and the priority of treatment will be discussed by the provider.
